New Zealand born and now based in NSW, celebrated landscape painter Ramon Ward-Thompson has established a successful studio practice over more than 40 years. Grandson of artist Herbert Ward-Thompson, Ramon is known for his interpretations of the Australian bush, rendered with a characteristic soft focus and subtle attention to light. Ramon’s work, strongly influenced by the Impressionist masters, is represented in numerous international and national institutions as well as in significant private collections.
