The fields have been ploughed in parallel, some are fallow, and others are awaiting seeding. Hectares of vibrant shoots, bursting from the furrows, are lying alongside barley and wheat fields, ripening to a golden hue under big blue skies.
In "Whispering Harvest," Black has used sun-printed barley spikes in their natural setting, swaying gently in the breeze. A blacksoil collagraph provides an earthy contrast to the graphic linoprints.
