  • Artist’s Statement

Hello, my name is Melanie Sinclair, though I'd prefer you called me Mel. I'm a Landscape and Creative Photographer from Ipswich, Queensland. My work primarily focuses on ethereal moments in the landscape, supplemented by found moments of intrigue. I am fascinated by snow, fog and frost, as it simplifies and augments the ever-changing nature of the world around us. My creative practice takes me down strange and wonderful paths of ways to blend art and photography together, and both facets of my practice sit side by side; creating from reality and creating a new reality.
