Artist’s Statement
My fascination with the natural world began at a very young age.
Spending time with the bees, watching the ants, admiring the butterflies and the petals they land on. The smell of bark, the texture of the leaves.
From this, my passion of studying flowers and the natural world grew over the years into what it is today.
All living things hold a potently powerful meaning.
The next time you go outside. I encourage you to pause, look and notice the otherwise unnoticed tiny life that is all around.Biography
Bridget Noonan has been a photographer for 7+ years. She spent the first few years on creative portrait work and corporate headshots, getting a feel for the art that would truly see her coming into her own, through the exploration of the natural world in her photography.
In 2023 Bridget held her first Art Exhibition titled “Lush”, selling out all of her floral based framed photography on the opening night, and following up with further prints and commissions throughout the rest of her exhibition run.
Bridget, through the lens of her art, encourages those who view her work to slow down and notice the small life that is all around us.
Influences
Ansel Adams work with simplistic composition through the natural world plays a big influence in my work.
